Detroit Concert Blog's debut

The Detroit Concert Blog came about as a portal to the music scene in Detroit and the massive metro area surrounding the city. The whole Southeast corner of Michigan is spilling over with talent. As a photographer, you may capture moments that showcase this talent, but few may ever get a chance to see through your eyes. As a fan, you may only see the show obscured by the backs of other peoples' heads, from so far back in the venue that you couldn't quite be sure if the people on stage are the band you came to see. The Detroit Concert Blog is the bridge for that gap, and soon fans will be able to see what we see from the other side of the barricade, inside the pit. Stay tuned.

Flogging Molly @ The Fillmore in Detroit, MI (2/19/09)

Flogging Molly returned to Detroit and put on one hell of a show at The Fillmore. Bridget Regan (shown left) had an expression that said it all. The band has quite a following, and the turnout for the night was what you would have expected. They'll be a part of the 2009 Warped Tour, and I can't wait to catch their show.
